Jukebox Oldies Band returns to Appling
The Arts Council of Appling County is excited to announce the return of the Jukebox Oldies Band to Appling County. This one night event will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 7:00 at the Appling County Fine Arts Center, located at the Appling County High School.
Tickets to the event are available at the Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce, Musicians Place or by calling 912-278-2772. You can also visit the Arts Council’s website found at www.artscouncilofapplingcounty.org. Adult tickets are $20.00, students are $10.00 and children under five get in free.
The current edition of Jukebox Oldies Band originated in late 2009 and began entertaining audiences in January of 2010. Jukebox is a group of seasoned professionals with an intense passion for playing and singing oldies. The group’s play list includes AM radio rock, pop, soul, R&B, disco and a little country. Mike Dame and Billy Folsom organized Jukebox Oldies Band as a successor to JUKEBOX, a band that began playing the area in 2003. A great fit in many venues, Jukebox Oldies Band enjoys playing clubs, parties, special events, fundraisers, class reunions, wedding receptions as well as fraternity/sorority parties. The group and the musical selections appeal to a very wide range of people with varying musical tastes. Young and old appreciate the music of the Jukebox Oldies Band.
