John Wesley Roach
John Wesley Roach, 51, died Thursday, March 7, 2013. John Wesley was born march 24, 1961 in Appling County to the late Burns Earnest Roach and the late Rosie Lee Castell Roach. He was a member of Hazlehurst Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Harriett Roach of Baxley; two daughters, Dana Reese and Hailey Roach, both of Baxley; two sons, James Roach and Bunkey Hesters, both of Baxley; two sisters, Tracy Roach of Baxley and Lou Merle Miller of Surrency; six brothers, Tommy Roach, Eugene Roach, Ernest Roach, all of Surrency, Charles Roach of Cartersville, Ronnie Roach of Baxley and Freddie Mitch Castell of Cartersville; three grandchildren and twenty nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10 from Swain Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Thomas Colter and Charles Hutcheson officiating. Interment followed in Appling Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers were Mark Allen, Ronnie Dowless, Steve Steedley, Robin Thomas, Bunkey Hesters and Wesley Horn.
Honorary pallbearers were Rakeen Wilkerson, Darren George, William Harmon, Terry Todd, Chris Hutchins and Ronnie Hester.
Musical selections were rendered by Sarah Clance.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
