Five local citizens indicted
Superior Court Judge E. M. Wilkes III opened five indictments in Appling County Superior Court on March 5. The subjects that were indicted and the indictments are as follows.
Willie Gene Bryant - burglary in the 1st degree.
John Perry Thigpen - rape, aggravated sodomy, two counts and kidnapping.
Jovan Maurice Smith - child molestation.
Ramon Johnson - aggravated assault, burglary in the 1st degree, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of tools for the commission of crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and burglary in the 1st degree-two counts.
Carol Ann Robideau - forgery in the 1st degree.
