Official 9th annual “Peaches to Beaches” Yard Sale Vendors for Appling County
Georgia’s longest yard sale, now over 220 miles long, the Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale will take place Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9 along the Golden Isles Parkway, U.S. Highway 341. Yard sale organizer for Appling County, Paula Tanner, encourages everyone planning to have a yard sale anywhere in Appling County during the Peaches to Beaches Yard Sale weekend, to please pay the $30 Official Vendor Fee and be listed on the official Appling County Site Map given to all visitors during the event. Your $30 fee covers your setup and advertisement for the entire weekend. Without the Golden Isles Parkway Association’s advertisement for the Peaches to Beaches Yard Sale the event would not be as successful for everyone. Baxley City Hall: Marqueen Jordan, Sheila Spivey, Sue Green (Temple of Higher Calling), Toi Oliver (Peaches-n-Pecans), Gary Jones, (J&J Outdoor Photography), Edna Vaughn (Friends of Appling Co. Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce: At this location visitors can obtain official vendor information, maps, etc. about the yard sale event. This location will also have all types of items being sold from Clothing (Women’s, Men’s, Little Girl), Kids Toys, Baby Stuff, Household items, Office, etc.
Official Individual Sites: Debbie Hanson, Christ Community Church of Appling Co. (3209 Golden Isles East), Gwen’s Crafts (1825 Hwy 203), Diane Bennett, Altamaha Home Care, (52 North Oak Street), all types of items will be sold at these sites from Clothing, Antiques, Household items, BBQ food, etc.
Local Business Participants: Fulghum Discount Drugs will feature storewide 50% off uniforms, excludes Da Vinci Beads and OTC products and prescriptions, (34 Park Avenue NW), Carlee Mae’s (73 SW Park Avenue) 50% Porch Sale, Gene’s Karate School and Fitness Center, (1329 Hatch Pkwy North) Fitness Equipment, Beauty Salon equipment and other items, New Mission Store (161 SW Park Avenue), will be selling all types of items and will be accepting donations after the event – call Billy Butler 366-7788.
