Doris Rentz, 72, of Graham, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Bethany Nursing Center in Vidalia.

Ms. Rentz was born October 9, 1940 in Jeff Davis County to the late Levi Grady Rentz and the late Ruth Hesters Rentz. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Truett and a brother, Herman Rentz.
Survivors include sisters, Joyce (Joby) Rowell of Hazlehurst and JoAnn (Lee) Bass of Graham; four brothers, Holt (Vivian) Rentz, Buddy (Annette) Rentz, Benny Rentz and Don (Loney Mae) Rentz, all of Graham; one sister-in-law, Amy Sue Rentz of Graham; a special cousin, Joan Rowell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Wigley and the Rev. Billy Gardner officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Glynn Rentz, Jamie Truett, Dax Rowell, Alex Rentz, Tony Rentz, Timmy Rentz and Terry Rentz.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by Terry Hesters.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.
