Devan Reese graduates from Gunner’s Mate training
GMSN Devan Reese graduated from Gunner’s Mate School on January 25. Reese graduated with an average of 93. He specializes in small arms weapons and is a technician for the five-inch gun mount on the destroyer DDG 99 USS Farragut, out of Jacksonville, Florida. Devan will be over the Armory on the ship and controlling the weapons that he specializes in.
Devan is the son of Ray and Lanetta Reese, brother of Marissa Reese, and the grandson of Clinton and Kay Reese and Lester and Louanna Grimes, all of Baxley. He is the great grandson of the late Aaron and Vera Reese. The family offers congratulations to GMSN Reese. “We are very proud of you.”
