Grace O’Farrell Bostic
Grace O’Farrell Bostic, 94, of Waycross, died Friday, January 29, 2013 at Baptist Village in Waycross after an extended illness. Mrs. Bostic was born Oct. 28, 1918 in Glenrock, Wyoming to the late late Zuell Colon O’Farrell and the late Dora Carlisle O’Farrell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waycross. In her earlier years she sang in the church choir and performed extensively in the communities in which she resided. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Owen Bostic, Sr. and her son, Lester Owen Bostic, Jr.
Survivors include her son, Ron D. Bostic of Wingate, N.C.; ten grandchildren and their children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Swain Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Williams officiating. Interment followed in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Christopher Bostic, Benjamin Bostic, Michael Bostic and Jonathan Philemon.
Musical selections were rendered by Polly Bostic.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
