Father thankful for safe return of his children

Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and prayers in the past week. I would also like to thank the following: Thank you to my wife and family for their continued support. Thank you to Kenny Wright and Jason Carter of the Appling County Sheriff’s Department, they supported me as if they were my family. Words cannot express how helpful they were in this situation. The people of Appling County are very fortunate to have their service. Thank you to the Charleston Police Department, who are too numerous to mention by name. Thank you to the GBI agents involved in the situation.

I am also thankful to all the news outlets that posted our story. I am thankful to Michael Dennis and Keith Morris for their involvement as well. A special thank you to April Stafford and Wendy Rice of the Stafford Law Group who worked around the clock to bring the children home. Thank you to anyone else involved, not mentioned by name. Your support has not gone unnoticed.

Once again, I am thankful for everyone’s support and prayers in this time.
