The Appling County Lady Pirates played three games over the past week with the first coming at home against Tattnall County on January 8. The Lady Pirates fell short losing 41-66. Leading scorers for the Lady Pirates were Bryianna Brantley 14 points and Tyqueria Jones eight points.
The Lady Pirates next contest was on the road at Johnson of Savannah on January 11 with the Lady Pirates losing 38-56. Top scorers were Alexus Boles 12 points, Bryianna Brantley 10 points and Khalia Burkett nine points.
The Lady Pirates final game of the week came at home against Southeast Bulloch with the Lady Pirates getting the win 49-42. Leading the Lady Pirates in scoring were Bryianna Brantley 17 points, Alexus Boles six points, Khalia Burkett six points and Kennesha Jones six points.
The Lady Pirates have three games this week. The first will be on the road against Pierce County on Tuesday, January 15 at 6:00 p.m. The second game is scheduled for Friday, January 18 at home against New Hampstead at 6:00 p.m. The final game of the week is set for Saturday, January 19 in Wayne County at 7:00 p.m.
