Alma Andres Hill, 92, of Jesup, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 in golden Living Center after an extended illness. The Appling County native had lived most of her life in Surrency and was a member of Surrency Methodist Church. She was also a homemaker and predeceased by her husband, Harry Ray Hill, Sr. and a daughter, Harriett Hill.
Survivors include a son, Harry R. Hill, Jr. of Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Nathan and Jamie Hill both of Tampa, FL; a sister, Callie Andrews O’Quinn of Jesup; several nieces, nephews, special friends, June Reddish and Shirley Christian.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Bethel Cemetery, Highway 144, Surrency, with the Rev. Tucker Lewis officiating.
Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the funeral home.
