Citizen of the Year nominations sought

The Baxley/Appling County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the prestigious 2012 Citizen of the Year Award. To be considered, the nomination must outline the nominee’s involvement in community activities, civic organizations and career. The award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet, which will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

Nominations can be mailed to the Chamber office located at 305 West Parker Street, Baxley, GA 31513 or faxed to 912-367-2073. The deadline for nominations is Friday, January 11, 2013. For more information call Karen Glenn at 912-367-7731.
