A merry time in Baxley

Thousands flocked to downtown Baxley Saturday evening for the 19th annual Celebration of Light Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Baxley/Appling County Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber’s and the City of Baxley’s Winter Wonderland.

Attendees were treated to a wonderful parade followed by fun in the snow behind Baxley City Hall. Other activities included sledding, a marshmallow roast, trolley rides, local entertainment and much more.
