Christmas for Wounded Warriors 2012

Dear Editor,

Please help us grant a Merry Christmas to all the children of our Wounded Warriors at Fort Stewart in Hinesville. Asbury United Methodist Church is joining others across the state in accepting new unwrapped toys or donations for the children of the Wounded Warriors. There will be a party at the Warrior’s Transition Battalion at Ft. Stewart that will be specifically for Wounded Warriors and their families. The Wounded Warriors at the base will be able to choose toys to give to their children from the toys you donate.

These soldiers are unable to shop for their children. LOTS AND LOTS OF TOYS are needed. There were not enough toys to go around to all of the Warriors last Christmas. You can drop your unwrapped toys off by November 30 at any of the banks in Baxley. If you wish to make a donation for the toys please make the check payable to Asbury Church for Wounded Warriors.
