Heller-Atkinson and Cornish to wed Nov. 17
Willie Gene and Darlene Heller of Baxley are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sharlene Heller-Atkinson, to Erik Antonio Cornish.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Arthur and the late Verdell C. Williams of Baxley and the paternal granddaughter of the late Preston Lee and Louella Heller of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Sharlene is a 2001 graduate of Appling County Comprehensive High School and a 2004 graduate of Altamaha Technical College, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Office Technology and Business Computer Applications.
The groom-elect is the son of the Rev. James and Patricia Cornish of Hazlehurst.
He is the paternal grandson of the late Rueben Cornish and the late Mary Evelyn Holt Cornish Carr and the maternal grandson of the late Joe and Rebecca Vann, all of Hazlehurst.
Erik is a 1998 graduate of Jeff Davis High school. He is currently employed at Arisings in Hazlehurst.
The wedding will take place Nov. 17 at 4:00 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church in Hazlehurst with a reception immediately following.
No local invitations will be sent; all family and friends are invited to attend.
