Patsy Brock
Patsy Brock, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 in the Appling HealthCare System. Mrs. Brock was born Jan. 27, 1946 to the late Earnest Willie and Mary Frances Owens. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Finch.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Brock of Baxley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Timmy Hudson of Lucama, N.C. and Charlene and Keith Price of Baxley; one son, Jeffrey Glenn Deans of Lucama, N.C.; two sisters and five brothers; a lifetime best friend, Louisa Bush of Baxley; six grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26 from Swain Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Roger LaRoche and Phillip Osteen officiating.
Active pallbearers were Chris Williams, Jason Williams, Travis Coffman, Marshall Black, Robert Bush and Kyle Hardwick.
Honorary pallbearers were the congregation of Calvary Baptist Church, congregation of Hope Baptist Church in Glenwood and Snow Hill Baptist Church of Glenwood.
Musical selections were rendered by Dianne Osteen, Lamar Leggett and Jerry Tomberlin.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
