Brooke Rowland and Justin Cosby to marry April 30
Brenda Rowland of St. Simons Island and Foster Rowland of Baxley announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley “Brooke” Rowland, to Justin Daniel Cosby, son of Dawn Cosby of Washington and Danny Cosby of Rayle.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Stanfield, Sr. of Patterson and the late Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Rowland, formerly of Alma.
Miss Rowland is a 2001 graduate of Glynn Academy of Brunswick. In 2007, she graduated from Kennesaw State University of Kennesaw, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Wadine Cosby of Washington, the late Thomas Blakey Cosby, formerly of Washington and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Durham, also formerly of Washington.
Mr. Cosby attended Washington Wilkes High School, Washington, and Central Georgia Technical College of Milledgeville.
A 5:30 p.m. wedding is planned for April 30 at the First Baptist Church of St. Simons Island, with a reception to follow in the atrium at the St. Simons Casino.
