GRAND JURY MEETING
APPLING COUNTY COURTHOUSE
The Grand Jury was called into session by Superior Court Judge E. M. Wilkes III. The roll was called and Judge Wilkes then accepted the minutes from the October 2011 Grand Jury Foreman, Felita Turner. Twenty-three jurors were selected from the prospective jury pool to serve on the Grand Jury for the February 2012 term. We were informed to select officers and bailiffs to serve for the term of the Grand Jury.
District Attorney Jackie L. Johnson conducted the swearing-in of the Grand Jury and instructed each juror of their responsibilities and duties. She handed out Grand Jury handbooks with detailed guidelines. Photographs for badges were taken and the Grand Jury was dismissed.

GRAND JURY MEETING
At the request of the District Attorney?s Office, Jan Kennedy, the Grand Jury met to consider indictments. Evidence was presented on 15 cases. All cases were returned as true bills. The jurors were then dismissed.

At the request of the District Attorney?s Office, Jan Kennedy, the Grand Jury met to consider indictments. Evidence was presented on 19 cases. All cases were returned as true bills. The jurors were then dismissed.
