Let’s take a look at the following numbers. It’s simple to understand.
At the time this piece was written the U.S. National Debt was $16,073,231,173,000.00 (roughly). By the way that’s trillion. The debt owed by each U.S. citizen is $51,110.00 (314,495,300 citizens). The debt owed by each taxpaying U.S. citizen is $140,453.00 (114,437,663 citizens).
The U.S. Gross Domestic Product is $15,394,598,670,000.00 (roughly).
Our debt is now more than our total domestic product.

Yes, we do need to say more. Under George W. Bush the deficit doubled to the sum of 5.07 trillion to Obama's 1.44 trillion. But don't forget that Obama inherited 1.3 trillion from Bush. Please google "Obama's and Bush's effect on the deficit". The bible says, "My people perish from a lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

The 1.3 trillon dollars you are referring to only applies to one of the four years Obama has been president. The president has added roughly 6 trillon dollars to the deficit. This is coming from a man who promised to cut the deficit in half in his first term. No hope...No Change..
