The Pirates will travel for the second straight year to face region foe Pierce County (4-1, 2-0) on Friday, October 5 with the game scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
Last season the two teams played for the Region 2-AA championship on the final week of the regular season with the Bears handing the Pirates’ their first loss 14-21.
Scoring recap
The first score of the game came on a one-yard touchdown run by the Blue Jackets to make the score, with the two-point conversion attempted being no good, 0-6 with 6:32 left in the first quarter.
The Pirates answered with a 92-yard touchdown pass from Quarterback Jason Dhaliwal to Jordan Vann. Israel Jaramillo added the extra point to make the score 7-6 with 5:40 left in the first quarter.
The next score was a 19-yard touchdown run by Pirate Justin Moore to make the score, with the extra point being blocked, 13-6 with 1:35 left in the first quarter.
The Jackets answered with a two-yard touchdown run and added the two-point conversion to make the score 13-14 with 8:41 left in the second quarter.
Later in the second quarter the Pirates got a four-yard touchdown run by Vann to make the score 19-14 with 2:06 left before the half.
The Jackets answered with a 10-yard touchdown pass to end the first half with a score of 19-22.
The Pirates again took the lead with 7:57 left in the third quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by Vann. Jaramillo added the extra point to make the score 26-22.
The Pirates added another score on an 11-yard touchdown run by Moore to make the score, with the extra point, 33-22 with 6:08 remaining.
The final score of the game ended a hard fought 70-yard drive by the Pirate offense to run down the clock with Dasha Carter scoring on a one-yard run to make the final score 39-22.

Leading rushers were: Justin Moore 137 yards on 17 rushes two touchdowns, Jordan Vann 104 yards on 15 rushes two touchdowns, Dasha Carter four yards on three rushes one touchdown.

Quarterback Jason Dhaliwal had 12 completions on 18 attempts for 160 yards and one touchdown.
