Lanier and England exchange May 26 vows
Lesha Rae Lanier of Metter was wed to John Gregorie England of Baxley on Saturday, May 26, at 5:00 p.m. The wedding and reception was held at The Marshall House in Savannah. Pastor Jim Giddens of Skidaway Island Methodist Church performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Melba Lanier and the late Reigh Lanier of Metter. Parents of the groom are Marshall England and the late Joan England of Baxley.
The bride is a graduate of Metter High School and a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and is currently the Assistant Finance Director of Chatham County.
The groom is a graduate of Appling County High School. He is a licensed Insurance Agent and is employed with National Teacher’s Associates.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Bermuda.
Greg and Lesha reside in Savannah.
