Dear Editor,
A few weeks ago a letter was mailed to my home from Mrs. Michelle Obama. Contained in the envelope was a panoramic style photograph of President Obama, Mrs. Obama and their two daughters. The purpose of the letter was to ask for a donation for her husband’s reelection. The idea of her using pictures of her family to promote their agenda struck a nerve with me.
Receives a letter from Mrs. Obama
I decided to reply with a letter of my own. I addressed it to her and told her that I had received the letter with the photograph. I told her that God has blessed her with two beautiful children that I’m sure she and her husband cherish.
I then reminded her that if abortion or same-sex-marriage had played a part in her life, these two beautiful daughters would not be here today. I said that I believe that if she and her husband were truly honest with themselves they would admit that abortion is murder and homosexuality is unnatural and wrong. I then thanked her for her time and asked her to please reply.
To no surprise of my own I never received a reply. Isn’t it ironic that a family that stands against traditional Biblical family values uses their family photographs to promote their ungodly ideas.

I got a better one than what happened to you -- before the last election here in Appling County, I answered the phone to a CHILD'S recording, saying Please Vote for My Dad ******. Who would use their child in such a way? And WHY would I vote for ANYONE just because their little girl asked me to? I want to know what they stand for, if they believe as I do, what they will do for me.

Really, you post this as a letter? Don't you think all politicians utilize their spouses and family to reach certain groups of voters? I wish Baxley could experience intellectual growth.

I totally agree with Cassandra. Are you people from Mayberry? Do you NOT know and understand that there are organizations out there that the President and his family are not even aware of? They operate on their own election ideas!!!!!!!!! My advice to you all is to go and visit somewhere other than Baxley!!!!!!!!!
