It’s that time of year yet again! The 2012 Appling County High School Homecoming Parade will take place Thursday, October 11 at 6:00 p.m. with line-up at 5:15 p.m. The parade processional will be led by our 2012 Grand Marshal Charles Vann.
Parade entry forms and disclaimer paperwork may be picked up in the front office of Appling County High School.
If you want to enter an individual/group please get an information sheet, entry form, and disclaimer form(s) from the ACHS front office. The entry fee is $10. All parade participants MUST have a disclaimer form filled out, signed, and turned in prior to the event.
ALL FORMS are due by 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10 to the front office of Appling County High School.
We have some BIG changes this year! First, the parade time has moved to 6:00 p.m. Please note that line-up will begin at 5:15 p.m. Secondly, the parade will no longer turn and proceed down Main Street.
We will only go straight on Highway 341 from the red light at Kentucky Fried Chicken to the red light at Wal-Mart. Line-up will be the same as last year. Lastly, all parade participants are to be picked up in the parking lot of Altamaha Technical College once the parade is complete.
We hope to see you all there! If you have any questions you may contact Rebecca Shumans at rebecca.shumans@appling.k12.ga.us or Rhonda Stone at rhonda.stone@appling.k12.ga.us. You may also contact ACHS at (912) 367-8610.
