A decade after graduation, the ACCHS Class of 2002 will reunite for this year’s homecoming celebration. “We thought homecoming would be the perfect time to bring our class together,” says Caroline Hatchett, Class of 2002 president. “Ten years have gone by so quickly, and we can’t wait to meet everyone’s families and find out what they’re up to.”
To kick off the reunion, all graduates and their families are invited to attend a pre-game tailgate on the Pirates practice field on Friday, October 12.
Class members will serve chili, nachos, and drinks—just bring your chairs, trucks, and football spirit. The tailgate is free of charge and will start at 5:30 p.m. RSVP online at

On Saturday, October 13, class members are invited to an adults-only evening at the former People’s State Bank Lodge, where they’ll enjoy barbecue, music, and memories.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday,” says Jennifer Barnes, Class of 2002 vice president. “The class has really come together, and we appreciate all the work that has gone into this special night.” The party will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance. You can make checks payable to “Class of 2002,” and drop them off at the high school or General Insurance care of Ashley Pearce Smith. RSVP through Facebook or online at
