I wish to thank everyone for their support of my Eagle Scout Service Project of fingerprinting, photographing, taking voice samples and DNA swabs of children under the age of 12 at the Baxley Wal-Mart.
Thanks to The Baxley News-Banner for running the article about the project, WBYZ for announcing the project and to Wild Bill for taking the time to interview me, the The Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of Georgia for supplying the computers, printers, ink and supplies and to Mr. Jim McLeod for his direct support, the Appling Co. Sheriff’s Department for their support, Wal-Mart for allowing us to set up out front of their store, with special thanks to Mr. Brian for his assistance; Tabor Technology for monetary support, as well as their time, and finally the scouts, their parents, and my close friends that performed the task necessary to complete the project.
I truly hope the parents of the children that received the Missing and Exploited Children’s Packets never have to use them, but if they do at least they are better prepared to equip the police with all the data in their child’s packets, which hopefully will speed the recovery of their child.
May God Bless and Keep your Children Safe,
Drew Tabor
