Russell Dewayne Roddenberry
David E. Miles Funeral Home announces the death of Russell Dewayne Roddenberry, 43, who passed away August 28, 2012, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Appling County and had lived in Jacksonville for the past several years. His parents, Doc and Ruth Miller preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, David Wade Roddenberry of Alma and Josh Aaron Roddenberry of Alma; one grandson, Hagen James Roddenberry of Alma; one brother, James Roddenberry and wife, Glenda of Irwinton; one sister Kim Branch and husband, Wayne of Baxley; and several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
Visitation was held Saturday, September 1, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 2 from the chapel of David E. Miles Funeral Home.
