Us parents were not notified of this matter at all. I have young kids that ride the school bus with High school kids. Who is taking measures to protect the kids on a hightened level on the bus? If I would have known I would have drove my kids to school and picked them up untill this issue was resolved. I believe in future matters that the parents of all students need be informed imediatley to do so so what they think to be in the best intrest of there childrens saftey.

they don't tell people ahead of time, so they can maybe catch the person. what would be the point in telling a criminal you're coming to bust him?

No kidding! Of course you don't "tell the criminal". However, INNOCENT children were sent to school and parents were not notified. It was not handled in the best possible way. Period.
