Collins and Martin to wed
Mr. and Mrs. John Collins of Baxley announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Betsy Caroline Collins, to Christopher Lee Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Martin of Jesup.
The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Jerry Bennett and the late Reba Bennett of Screven. Her paternal grandparents are the late Herschel and Minnie Collins of Jesup.
Miss Collins is a 2010 graduate of Appling County High School and is currently a student at East Georgia College.
The groom-elect’s maternal grandparents are the late Lois and Herman Tanner of Alma. His paternal grandparents are Jimmy and Annette Carter of Hinesville and Marty Martin of Savannah.
Mr. Martin is a 2003 graduate of Wayne County High School. He is employed by Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose.
The ceremony is planned for April 2, at 6:00 p.m. at The Woody Folsom Lodge, formerly The Park Avenue Bank Lodge, at Lake Mayers. Friends and relatives are invited. No local invitations will be sent.
