Crystal Powell of Lumber City and Samuel Jackson of Hazlehurst proudly announce the birth of their son Samuel Latrell Jackson, Junior. 

He was born at 2:48 p.m. on August 9, 2012, weighed five lbs. 12 oz., and was 18" long.  He was delivered by Dr. John Crane at the Appling Healthcare System.  Samuel joins big brother Jayden Powell, age five.  Samuel is the grandson of Susan and Danny Daniel of Lumber City, and of Linda Fisher and Tommy Jackson of Hazlehurst.
