Mr. and Mrs. David Hinley of Baxley and Mrs. Sarah Reid of Fredericksburg, VA announce the marriage of their children, Amorette and Charles on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Arbors Estate in Charlotte, N.C.
The double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Herb Frost of Providence, Rhode Island. Beautiful fall foliage surrounded the wedding venue, which overlooked the Arbors Lake. The outdoor ceremony was attended by Amber Swain from Baxley, matron of honor; Holly Tomblins of Savannah, maid of honor; Mary Gehringer of Charlotte, N.C., college friend; Keri Crosby of Baxley, childhood friend; Lisa Washington of Charlotte, N.C., college friend and Aziza Abouzaid of New York City, college friend.
Serving as groomsmen were Timothy Reid and Donald Reid, Jr., as best men from Fredericks, VA; Brandon Beamer, childhood friend; Brian Perry, childhood friend; Michael Powers, college friend and Jason Cobb, college friend.
Flower girls were cousins of the bride, Railyn Porter, Allie Beth Porter and Rachel Reid and nephews of the groom, Joshua Reid and Isaac Mosley, served as ring bearers.
Mothers of the bride and groom each read meaningful Bible scriptures to the honored couple, followed by the exchange of marriage vows written by Amorette and Charlie. Amorette carried a keepsake handkerchief hand tatted by her great-grandmother and her grandmother, Charlotte Whitfield of Twin City.
Following the ceremony, guest enjoyed the reception dinner catered by UpStream Catering of Charlotte, N.C. and music provided by Split Sound Services of Charlotte, N.C.
Family and friends of the bride and groom enjoyed this celebration of love with laughter, music and dance and later in the evening a midnight buffet was enjoyed.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the married couple have made their home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
