Ms. Beckworth and Mr. Mullis to wed
Carolyn Beckworth of Baxley is proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Dana Allison Beckworth, to Casey Shawn Mullis.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Jimmy Beckworth. She is the maternal granddaughter of the late Roger E. and Vernelle Sorrell and the paternal granddaughter of Jeanette Beckworth and the late Farris Beckworth of Baxley.
Dana is a 2006 honor graduate of Appling County Comprehensive High School. She is a 2010 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is currently employed as an accountant with Robert W. Goodman, CPA in Alma.
The groom-elect is the son of Pete Mullis and Shelly Gibbs of Baxley. He is the paternal grandson of the late Bill and Virginia Mullis and the maternal grandson of the late Bunk and Louise Whaley of Baxley.
Casey is a 1998 honor graduate of Appling County Comprehensive High School. He is currently employed with Gstek, Inc. in Fort Stewart as a telecommunications technician.
The wedding will take place Aug. 25 at 6:00 p.m. at Woody Folsom Lake Lodge in Baxley with a reception immediately following. No local invitations will be sent; all family and friends are invited to attend.
