On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to congratulate Kevin Gough on his appointment by public defender for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit, which includes Appling, Camden, Glynn, Jeff Davis and Wayne counties.
Georgia’s public defenders fulfill a critical responsibility in our state’s criminal justice system. A graduate of the University of Georgia Law School, Mr. Gough brings 25 years of experience in the legal profession, including service as an assistant district attorney, to the position.

All Georgia lawyers can appreciate our colleague’s continued commitment to public service as demonstrated by his acceptance of this appointment, which helps promote the cause of justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all citizens. We wish him well in his new duties.
