ACPS supply list given for students
Appling County Primary School Principal Brenda Harvey, teachers, and staff members are looking forward to an outstanding school year. In preparation for the school year, each grade level at ACPS provides a list of supplies that each student will need for that grade level to assist parents in preparing their child for the new school year. The following is a list of supplies request by each grade level:
PreKindergarten: large book bag, two regular towels or blanket, Kleenex Tissue, large and small zip lock bags, Clorox Wipes, one bottle of Germ-x and one package of baby wipes.
Kindergarten: wide-ruled composition book, pencil box/bag, pencils, jumbo erasers (two pack), glue sticks (two pack), Crayola crayons, Fiskar Scissors (blunt tip), clothes (extra changing; please label), Lysol Spray (one can), one container of Clorox Wipes, Kleenex, Ziploc Bags (sandwich, quart, or gallon), Germ-X (hand sanitizer) and book bag.
First Grade: book bag, two boxes of crayons (16 count), Fiskar Scissors, four big pink erasers, 24- #2 pencils (no decorative pencils), six jumbo glue sticks, three boxes of Kleenex, four dry erase markers, one dry erase eraser, one-12 oz. bottle of hand sanitizer, two highlighters, two containers of Clorox Wipes, one box of one quart Ziploc Bags and one box of gallon Ziploc Bags.
2nd Grade: 24-#2 yellow pencils, two boxes Kleenex, dry erase markers, wide-ruled notebook paper, one box of Crayons (no larger than 16 count), highlighters, pencil top erasers or block erasers, one container of wipes, one can disinfectant spray, two bottles of hand sanitizer, markers (washables), Quart and Gallon size Ziploc bags, book bag and one ream of copy paper.
Students in each grade level are encouraged not to have rolling book bags. If you have any questions, please call the school at 367-8642.
