Political forums slated
The Appling County Heritage Center and the Appling County NAACP are preparing to host political forums for the citizens of Appling County.
The Heritage Center’s Forum will be held two nights, June 26 and 28, starting at 7:00. Each candidate that is on the schedule will be notified which night they will apear to present their platform to voters. The Heritage Center invites the public to come take part in this important forum. For more information call 367-8133.
The NAACP will be hosting its forum on June 21 at the Progressive Resource Center starting at 7:00 p.m. The public is cordially invited and encouraged to attend the forum to learn about candidates. For more information contact Larry Nesmith at 912-278-3892.
