Hear it from their mouths
There are times when technology definitely has its advantages. Case in point. You’ve heard me preach for years about researching political candidates to assist in making an educated vote. However, I felt that as a newspaper we were not bringing you enough information about candidates to assist readers. That is no longer the case.
In the coming weeks The News-Banner’s website, www.baxleynewsbanner.com, will be publishing videos of candidates running for local and area races. Simply select the link on our home page titled “Election 2012” and select the particular race you would like more information about. Hear from candidates and let them tell you why they believe they are best suited for a particular office.
We have recently completed a series of interviews with all of the 12th Congressional District Candidates and started videoing Appling County Sheriff candidates. Stay tuned as more videos of candidates will be posted very soon.
