Miss Williams and Mr. Griffin to wed at Mt. Vernon Baptist
R. Victor and Vickie Williams of Baxley are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tasha Denise Williams, to David Cole Griffin, the son of David D. and Lynn Griffin of Alma.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Donald and Lorene Hunter of Baxley. She is the paternal granddaughter of J. Robert and Violet Williams of Baxley.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Max and Sherry Tillman, and Everett and Lisa Tomberlin of Alma. He is the paternal grandson of Pete and Dorene Mills of Alma and the late Daniel (Dan) Griffin Sr.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Appling County High School. She attends Georgia Southern University where she is pursuing a degree in Finance and will graduate December 2012. She is currently employed at Rayonier in Jesup.
The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Appling County High School and a 2010 graduate of Okefenokee Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Allied Health. He is currently employed at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross as a Radiologic Technologist.
The couple will be united in marriage on Saturday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Baxley with a reception immediately following. No local invitations will be sent; all family and friends are invited to attend.
