On Tuesday, March 22, the Appling County Middle School will conduct a parent session entitled “Cyberspace Safety” from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Discovery Place Parent Resource Center located behind FNB South Bank.
This session will provide parents or guardians with some tips that can be used at home to protect their tech savvy middle school students from cyberspace dangers concerning sexting, cyberbullying, and general safety tips.
The session is sponsored by the Appling County Middle School, Title I-A Parental Involvement, and the Special Education Parent Mentor. Language interpretation and childcare for children ten years of age and under will be provided.
