Dora Lybrand Eason
Dora Lybrand Eason passed away April 5, 2012 at Wellspring. A memorial service will be held at Wellspring on Thursday, April 12, at 11:30 a.m.
Dora was a graduate of Queen’s College in Charlotte, N.C. and a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She married George Bayne Eason, Jr. on November 30, 1946. George predeceased her in 2011. Dora was an avid tennis player and loved to work in her garden. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, George Bayne Eason, III and wife Alyce of Summerfield, N.C. and a grandson, W. Jordan Eason of Hampden-Sydney, VA.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 60 Bay St. Suite 401, Staten Island, NY 10301.
