Mr. and Mrs. George Carl O’Quinn of Baxley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Joy Dori, to Pinckney Victor Love, III (Trey).
Joy is the maternal granddaughter of the late Jack and Loretta Lyons of Harriman, Tenn. and the paternal granddaughter of Carl and Nettie O’Quinn of Baxley. She is a 2001 graduate of Appling County Comprehensive High School and a 2008 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University, where she received a Master’s of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Joy is a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church. She is currently employed with the Burke County School System and In-Home Pediatric Therapy as a speech-language pathologist.
Trey is the son of Pinckney V. Love, Jr. of Diboll, Texas and Elaine Saxon of Waynesboro. He is the maternal grandson of Clifford “Honey” Saxon and the late Hugh E. Saxon Sr. of Midville. He is the paternal grandson of the late Pinckney Sr. and Nathalee Love of Gadsden, Ala. Trey is a 1996 graduate of the St. Andrews School in Middletown, Del. and a 2003 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Trey is a member of First Baptist Church of Midville, Sigma Chi Fraternity, Waynesboro Rotary Club, and Waynesboro Lodge #274 F. and A.M. Trey is currently employed with C and H Services in Waynesboro, as Director of Operations.
The wedding will take place this March in Waynesboro. Invitations will be sent. The couple plans to honeymoon in Maya Riveria, Mexico. They would like to send their love and thanks to all friends and family.
