Kelwin Edison and Ciana Blankenship are proud to announce the beginning of their new life together. They were married January 9, 2012 in Pensacola, FL.
Ciana is the proud daughter of Marvin and Tara Blankenship of Pensacola, FL. She is the granddaughter of Patricia Ramsey and Henry Blankenship of Pensacola, FL.
Ciana is currently a student at Pensacola State College majoring in Crime Scene Investigation. She is also working as a bank teller.
Kelwin attended school in Appling County and played as running back on the Appling County Pirate Football Team. He graduated from ACHS in 2006. After graduating high school he went to Middle Georgia College, but he decided he wanted to serve his country. Edison is serving in the U.S. Navy. His rate is Aviation Service and Equipment Technician. He is currently working to become a petty officer. Kelwin is attached to the aircraft carrier U.S. Eisenhower, which is in port in Norfolk, VA.
Kelwin is the proud son of Kengi Thompson and Willie Edison and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Carter of Baxley.
He is the maternal grandson of Patricia Thompson-Green and the late Clarence Thompson of Fort Myers, FL and Ida Mae Wooten of Baxley. His paternal grandparents are Barbara Edison and the late Willie Edison of Fort Myers, FL.
