Candidate for Congress Sheffield in Baxley
Maria Sheffield, a Republican candidate for Congress in Georgia’s 12th Congressional District, made a stop in Appling County on March 7 to speak at the South Georgia Republican Luncheon.
Following redistricting, Appling will now be a part of the 12th Congressional District. After the event, Sheffield sat down for an on-camera interview with The Baxley News Banner’s Cameron Harrelson where she talked about a range of issues like ObamaCare and Energy Independence. This interview will be shown on The News-Banner’s website at a later date. Maria resides in Dublin.
