Chamber honors Teachers of the Year

The Baxley-Appling Chamber of Commerce honored the 2012-2013 Teacher’s of the Year at a luncheon on Tuesday, March 13, at Capt. Joe’s.

Teachers of the Year were Mindy Pearce from Appling County Elementary, Robin Taylor from Fourth District, Rena Yawn from Appling County Primary, Holley Rentz from Altamaha Elementary, Dana Rentz from Appling County Middle and Wendy Powell from Appling County High School.  Mrs. Powell is also the overall Appling County School District Winner.
