Superintendent says “Thank You” to Friends of Education

Superintendent Scarlett M. Copeland expressed a huge “Thank You” to the Friends of Education for working diligently to assist her and the board of education in passing eSPLOST IV for educational purposes! Mrs. Copeland stated, “this committee was instrumental in supporting the school system by meeting to plan for the passing of eSPLOST IV on several occasions, as well as attending several civic organizations with me to present this important information.”

Each member is to be commended on their dedicated services to the students, parents, and community of Appling County. Members of the Friends of Education were Peggy Miles, chair; Jerry Strickland, treasurer; Dr. Esco Hall, Richie Williams, Danita Hayes, and Kelly Stone.
