Crummey and Bowen to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Crummey of Baxley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Marie Crummey, to David Andrew Bowen of Alma, son of Dirce Bowen and the late Charles Bowen.
Ashley is the maternal granddaughter of Dencil Haycox of Las Vegas, NV and the late Sybil Ridener. She is the paternal granddaughter of the Rev. Ben and Melba Blankenship and the late Rev. Howard Crummey of Baxley. Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Appling County High School.
David is the paternal grandson of Bessie Bowen and the late Woodrow F. Bowen of Alma. David is a 1993 graduate of Rutland High School in Rutland, VT. He is currently employed with J. H. Harvey in Hazlehurst as an assistant manager.
The wedding will take place March 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Big Creek Baptist Church in Alma. Reception will follow in the church social hall. All friends and family are invited to attend. The couple will reside in Alma.
