Everyone has a cordial invitation to attend The 19th Annual Meeting of the Appling County Heritage Center. It will be held on Thursday, January 26 at the Apple Dumpling Restaurant at 7:00 p.m. The Dutch-treat affair will feature guest speaker, Harry Harrell, an Appling County Native. He attended Tennessee State University and now resides in Atlanta.
Harrell to speak at Heritage Center Annual Meeting
Harrell formed Valencia Capital Group to structure his interest in real estate in North America and the Caribbean. Together with Forrest King, President/Chief Operations Officer, Harrell has participated in a broad range of financial holdings and real estate transactions. His experience includes various board participation and numerous award-winning recognitions.
He has considerable experience in complex resort/multi-family/residential real estate development, where he works closely with related professionals to create integrated master plan communities. Much of Harrell?s success arrives from an interstate automotive consortium, which includes luxury and fleet dealings.
At the Progressive Club Annual meeting in October 2005, a group of Appling County citizens presented the idea of a Boys and Girls Club. In May of 2006, Harry Harrell pledged to match every dollar raised locally towards locating a club at the old Junior High School, where the Progressive Club had offered space and support. Later Harrell also donated a car to be raffled off for a fund-raiser for the Boys and Girls Club.
Harrell is a man who is concerned for the youth in his native county, and supporting them in various ways.
