Dear Editor,

Thanks to the postal customers in Baxley and Surrency for making this another successful year of our Letter Carrier Food Drive. Together 6035 pounds of canned goods were collected. All food was donated to our local food bank.

Dear Jamie,

On April 7, 2015 President Obama hosted his sixth annual Easter prayer breakfast at the White House. Any casual review of Internet postings including the words “Obama”, “prayer”, and “Easter” will bring forth a raft of scorn accusing the president of being a Muslim, an atheist, and evil incarnate. Thanks to a constant stream of attack via both the Internet and the news media, many folks are convinced that the president is, at least, not a believer in God or Jesus. [Full Story »]
