Baxley is a “trashy” place
I know that headline seems abrasive, but as I look around our beautiful city I see streets and yards riddled with trash (such as the intersection shown above). Is this because of the owners of the property? No. It is because of the trashy people throwing their trash out the window of a car or truck. Hardly a day passes that we don’t find trash thrown in the yard here at The News-Banner from vehicles passing by. A lottery ticket, a baby wipe, drink cans or bottles, shopping bags and even an entire bag of trash have been found at our office. Do people have no self-respect or respect for others? What a “trashy” bunch.
