The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) is preparing Title V Operating Permits in accordance with Title V of the Clean Air Act. This permit will be enforceable by the Georgia EPD, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and other persons as otherwise authorized by law.
Rayonier Wood Products LLC – Baxley Sawmill produces southern yellow pine dimensional lumber.
The draft permit and all information used to develop the draft permit are available for review. This includes the application and all other relevant materials available to the permitting authority. This information is available for review at the office of the Air Protection Branch, 4244 International Parkway, Atlanta Tradeport - Suite 120, Atlanta, Georgia 30354. July 18 at approximately 5:08 p.m., met with a resident at a Fair Street address in reference to a theft. On arrival the resident told officers that they hired and paid a subject to do some work for them, and he hadn’t done it, and that this has been going on for a while. After an investigation, Cecil Lewis Nails, Jr., 40, of Baxley, was arrested on charges of one count each of probation of elder adults, theft by conversion and theft by deception. [Full Story »]
