The desire of most people is to enjoy life. I believe that it is safe to say that, as much as possible, to drink life to the lees and live life to the fullest is our ultimate goal. All of our energies are directed to getting the most that life has to offer. The preacher in Ecclesiastes 8:15 put it this way: “So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life that God has given him under the sun.”
