Dear Editor and Citizens of Appling County,

The reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 is to improve student achievement across the nation with particular focus on the achievement of low-performing students from low-income families. Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) is one of the cornerstones of ESEA. It is a measure of the year-to-year student achievement on statewide assessments. [Full Story »]

Dear Editor and to the people of Appling County,

I am not running for any city or county office…but believe me…I’ve got something to say to you about the things you better start ‘standing for’ and believing in…God and Justice!

I had no idea what God was going to require me to do when I came down here to simply have an ‘Estate Sale’ and for those who don’t know you don’t have to die to have an estate sale. You are simply selling items you wouldn’t have in a yard sale, more valuable items. [Full Story »]
