The City of Baxley hereby solicits proposals for Delinquent Account Collection Services relating to their Water/Sewer Utility. The initial term of contract awarded will be for one (1) year, reserving the right to terminate the contract at any time. The City of Baxley estimates that there is excess of $75,000 in uncollected debt owed to the COB. Successful proposer will exercise its best, prudent, and lawful efforts to secure collections on all accounts referred by the COB. Collection activities shall comply with all federal and state laws. Proposers shall provide a detailed plan of the collection services offered. All interested parties should contact City Hall, located at 282 East Parker Street, Baxley, GA. 31513, to acquire additional information needed to offer their proposal. The deadline for accepting proposals is Friday, October 14, 2011, at 2:00 PM.
